Patrol Squadron Eleven(VP-11)
nicked name the "Proud Pegasus" is a former U.S. Navy
land-based patrol squadron based at the former NAS Brunswick, ME  flying the P-3C Orion. The squadron was decommissioned in 1996.
VP-11 was tasked to undertake maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare (ASW), Counter Drug Interdiction and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
