    Description

Standard gauge track starter bundle, 8 curves, 10 straights, packed in a large flat rate box. This is a starter set bundle of used old prewar standard gauge track. It makes an oval layout with 2 extra curves included as replacements for bent sections, if one should be troublesome. Shipping to 48 states only, is included in price. NOTE CONDITION from photos: This track has not been cleaned and shows dirt, surface corrosion and it appears that a few sections were painted with aluminum paint long ago. There are some rusty spots, layout paint or other discoloration. Pins may be missing. The track is a mixture of brands and most is unmarked. The back story- I bought a large box of track about 30 years ago when I was setting up a standard gauge layout. It was all in the same condition as this, very usable once it was cleaned and pins replaced. I used 0-gauge pins. I cleaned what was needed for the operation and stored the rest. The trains ran fine on that track. This original track should serve the buyer well. Please read carefully- Everything in this round of auctions has been stored in clean smoke free area.
