his ALCO-SENSOR IV should only be used as a "simple reference" as to an alcohol level, not the exact alcohol level until buyer has the device officially calibrated by a licensed calibrating company/agency.
Limited Testing (Limited testing as we are only resellers, not actual users of the equipment):
1. Plugged in an Intoximeter mouth piece (required to power it on),
2. Screen displays current temperature, in this case it was 23C, (a later test showed 27C after blowing through it for a few tests), photo #1,
3. Screen displays "<" and then ">" and then continued to blink "Set", so "Set" is pushed, photo #2,
4  D
isplay says "blnk", then does a few cycles of blinking "<" and ">" and then once again stops on a blinking "Set", so "Set" is pushed again, photo #2,
5. It did a few cycles of blinking "<" and ">" and then stops on a blinking "Test", photo #3,
6.  I blew through mouthpiece while also viewing the display and could see little symbols on LED moving left to right representing the air flowing though it.
7. Since I had drunk no alcohol before blowing through the mouthpiece, the LED display showed ".000", photo #4.
8. After displaying the test result for a few seconds, it reverts back to a blinking "Set",
9. Now when "Set" button is pushed, the display turns off and it beeps until you push the "red-button" causing it to
eject the mouthpiece and turn itself off.
